Spotlight on UNIX hangs when connecting to Red Hat Linux 6 OS -
Description
Spotlight on Oracle 9.6.0.854 (with Spotlight on UNIX/Linux built in, Seems to hang when trying to connect to Linux OS Red Hat 6. No error ... just hangs. Seems to work fine with other UNIX flavors. -
Résolution
Try the following ...
Change the following line in “spotlight\plug-ins\datasourceunix\scriptconfig.ini” and restart the connection –Change from
;SUA_PERL_BIN=/dev/null
To
SUA_PERL_BIN=/dev/null
