What to do with Shareplex when upgrading Oracle database from 9.2.0.+ to 9.2.0.8?
You don't need to upgrade SharePlex if you are applying an oracle 9i patch as long as oracle home does not change
Version 5.1.7 supports all oracle 9.2.0.2+
Version 5.3.2 supports all oracle 9.2.0.2+
Oracle version 9.2.0.2+ means that all 9.2.0.x releases above and including 9.2.0.2, are supported. For more details refer the Shareplex Release Notes.
Just make sure that the var/adm/.splex /V-5/lib92 links are correct after the upgrade before starting up shareplex.
