Files Missing Error when Upgrading the Core or the Agent -
Description
When you upgrade the Core or the Agent to a new build, you may encounter the error “Files required for upgrade is missing. Please, repair or remove product using original installer.”

Cause
At some point in time the original installer cache was removed from the host machine. This is stored in the directory C:\ProgramData\AppRecoveryInstallerCache. -
Résolution
To resolve the error, you must repair your current installation before upgrading to the new build. To do this, complete the following steps.
- Download the full version of your currently installed version (prior to upgrade) from Previous Builds of your product.
- Run the Core or Agent installer for your currently installed version to repair your current installation.
- Retry the upgrade to the new build.
