1/ BUG 32429
Restored/renamed VM using the same UUID as original VM causing conflict.
2/ This error can also be found when a VM with the UUID given has been removed/deleted from the vCenter but not removed from backup.
1/ Change the UUID of the restored /renamed VM that had the same UUID as the original VM. Clone the restored/renamed VM and the cloned VM will have a different UUID. Then removing the restored VM with the conflicting UUID from the inventory.
for other ways of changing the UUID contact VMware
2/ If the VM no longer exists on the vCenter deselect the VM from the backup to resolve this issue
If unable to locate the VM with conflicting UUID and using VMware 6.0 and above use following procedure to locate the conflicting VM.
1 Open a browser window, and in the address bar, type the following URL.

Provide the login information for the server.
