Adding HV cluster to the protection fails with: "A null reference exception was thrown in code" error

HV cluster protection fails with the below error in the AppRecovery logs.

This is a known issue identified as defect ID RR-111562. The defect will be evaluated by our Product team for inclusion in a future release.  There is no guarantee that a specific defect fix will be implemented in a future release.

   • Note: Ensure that the patch is installed on all Hyper-V cluster nodes. During the protection process, Do Not select the option "Protect machine with both supported and unsupported virtual disk types."
   • Rapid Recovery 6.9.0.309, P-A64-2655 .
