When connecting to DBs via ODBC, I get error "SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed."
ODBC driver selected is not one for Toad.
1. Go to Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools |
2. Open up Data Source (ODBC)
3. Under the User DSN or System DNS (depending on where the ODBC is created) look for the entry you are using and you might see the "TACOM2X (e.g. TACOM21 or TACOM25, etc.) missing in the name of your driver
4. Click on 'Remove' to remove that entry and rebuild it using a driver with TACOM2X listed (e.g. IBM DB2 ODBC DRIVER - TACOM26)
