1. Locate the editini.exe in Stat directory (\Program Files\Quest Software\ Stat 6.3.0)
2. Click on Edit > New Record
3. Type in a profile name. You can type in any name you want. In this case, I would type in ST63 to connect to Stat 6.3 db.
4. Select the DBMS from the drop down list. Since this is an Oracle db, I would need to select Oracle.
5. Type in the Net_server_name. This should be the database alias name. The Loginid always need to be STATLOGIN
6. Save the entry and make sure to test connection
