When Vista and Windows7 users attempt to launch an application via the Web-IT Interface they are prompted to save PIT file rather than the application launching.
Various possible causes.
Issue may happen when:
- The vWorkspace client is not installed
- The vWorkspace client was installed and User Account Control was enabled during installation
- The vWorkspace client was installed by user without local admin rights
Install vWorkspace client under administrative account if client was installed in any of the scenarios noted above.
If it was installed properly it is also possible to manually associate the .PIT extension with PNTSC.EXE. PNTSC.EXE is located in the '%Program Files%\Quest Software\vWorkspace Client' folder.
