Description

When installing and configuring (vMA) Virtual Management Appliance for VMware vSphere for vConverter; receiving the following error in line XXX
when running sudo ./va-release-esx-X.X.X.-X-x86_64.sh --install
Cause

This problem is generally cause by using the incorrect transfer mode when uploading (/va-release-esx-X.X.X.-X-x86_64.sh) script to vMA using winSCP or similar transfer utility
Résolution

Make sure to set the transfer mode option to binary and then rerun ./va-release-esx-X.X.X.-X-x86_64.sh --install
