Symptoms: When trying to generate a binary log from a Windows CMD line as shown below you get an error
nvlogdump -filename report.nlg -starttime 20110629121212
Failed to communicate to NetVault services
The issue here is that you will need to ensure that the CMD line binary is run with administrative rights.
That means you will need to launch the terminal with a right click " Run as Administrator"
