What's new in version 13.2 -
Description
KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) is designed to automate device management, application deployment, patching, asset management, and Service Desk ticket management.

This release of the KACE Systems Management Appliance does not include any major features.
It's focused Quality of Life changes, fixes for defects in past releases, as well as some security improvements.
The following features will be deprecated in a future release:- OVAL/SCAP scans
- Scripting configuration policies
- MacOS Profiles
- SSL/TLS (HTTPS) to be enforced, disabling HTTP access. Let's Encrypt Integration was added on 13.0, alternatively a Self-Signed Certificate will also work.
- Physical Dell PowerEdge (R610/R410/R420/R430) servers are no longer supported. Any attempts to upgrade the appliance using hardware result in failure. Follow instructions here to migrate to a Virtual Platform.
- With this release, FreeBSD has been updated to 13.2-RELEASE-p4. Per VMWare (page 37), the minimum ESXi version supported is 7.0. Make sure that the VM Compatibility version is updated before the upgrade of the SMA.
- Minimum memory requirements to run 13.0 and up have changed. A minimum of 8GB of RAM is required to successfully operate the appliance.

Settings
- Basic proxy authentication failure with http code 407
- Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate failed to renew automatically
- Disk space requirement calculation for backups
- SMTP server fields not displayed under Enable SMTP Remote Server (Outbound Relay) on the Network Settings page
- Munin graphs were not displayed due to permissions issue
Security
- Clamav stuck in infinite loop due to invalid filenames in service desk attachments
- Patch download stuck in deleting unused patch files phase
- Patch Catalog remained in the Deleting Unused Patch Files status without being able to complete the deletion
- Escalated time being set to current time on ticket creation
- Process approval due date set incorrectly when business hours are enabled
- Due date not set by default for process parent ticket with due offset.
- Service desk email failed to be parsed with “Mime message end missing” message.
- Fixed issue where text file attachments sent over email were not being added to Service Desk tickets
- TXT file attachments not included to service desk tickets when sent over email.
- Fixed issue where ticket change notifications no longer sent a list of ticket changes done within a minute, except for the last one.
- Empty inventory values constantly written to history.
- Processor and printers shown in single line in device inventory.
- Fixed issue with asset archival due to deadlock situation when trying to get lock
- All KACE macOS agent Munki files are now signed
- Agent tunnel creation failed and blocked agent connection for all devices.
- Offline kscript on schedule looping issue
- Agent hangs the bootup process for 12 mins if MI is configured and agent can’t reach the SMA during bootup
- KACE GO app failed to login from Org ID 20 and above.
