Description
When trying to upload a certificate the "Error Unable to get local issuer certificate. (Certificate authority chain) OpenSSL error 20" appears. -
Cause
Bug# 32170 - SSL Root CA certificate only works when file has .pem extension -
Résolution
Workaround:
The entire chain can't be uploaded as a single file. It needs to be broken on root and subsequent intermediates with each filename having the .pem extension.
eg:
0root.pem
1interm.pem
2interm.pem
The CA Certificate isn't affected by this.
If there was an attempt to upload the SSL Certificate in a different way than above, then a support case needs to be created since there are additional steps to be taken by the support engineer.
Status:
Waiting for fix in a future release of the DR system software.
