By default, the Change Auditor Agent will open and listen on port 5455 for incoming events from a NetApp FPolicy Server so it may receive and audit events sent from a NetApp Filer.
In some cases, another application that has been installed on the Change Auditor Agent host may require this port, can it be changed?
The following registry key can be used to change the listening port for NetApp events:
Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest\ChangeAuditor\Agent
Value Name: FPolicyServerPort
Value Type: DWORD
Value: Any valid integer value within RPC range
Once the registry key has been created, the Change Auditor Agent must be restarted for the change to take effect.
