Can AA manage non-trusted domains?
Active Administrator cannot effectively manage a non-trusted domain without a trust relationship. It is recommended to install Active Administrator in both domains because it would be difficult to configure it correctly without a trust.
Without this trust, there would be no way to assign permissions to a non-trusted domain, and the Active Administrator Foundation service (AFS) and Active Directory Services (ADS) service accounts require Domain Admin rights in each domain that is managed or monitored by Active Administrator
