Description

Getting table full errors in mysqd log. FMS log has errors in regards to JTA commit failed.
110809 15:31:34 [ERROR] /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld: The table 'alarm_alarm' is full
110809 15:31:35 [ERROR] /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld: The table 'topology_object_history' is full
110809 15:31:25 [ERROR] /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld: The table 'topology_object' is full
We are getting this error:

Cause

FileSize limit within the Operating System.
Resolution

In regards to the filetable limits, the MySQL site has some documenation on this subject.
Customer indicated there was plenty of filesystem space but the O/S may have a limit on filesizes, so please review the MySQL article on their website.
"The effective maximum table size for MySQL databases is usually determined by operating system constraints on file sizes, not by MySQL internal limits."
