Changing credentials for DB agents doesn't update credentials for PI (4378834)

After changing the account used to monitor SQL Server to use a service account in the validate connection area of the database agent,  the standard SQL Server collections run with the new service account, but the PI collections keep running with the older SQL authenticated login.

Changing credentials for database agents does not update credentials for PI and the PI collection continues to run with the old credentials until restarting the agent.

A user changing the credentials needs to restart the agent before it can work properly.

Restart the database agent after changing credentials. 

STATUS

This issue has been logged as defect FOG-9893 and will be fixed in the 7.3.1.10 and higher versions of the SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle, MySQL PI, and PostgreSQL PI cartridges. It is presently fixed in Foglight Cloud.
