An error occurred when launch Essentials or run a essential command from powershell:

!MESSAGE An error occurred while automatically activating bundle org.eclipse.emf.ecore (237).

org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Exception in org.eclipse.emf.ecore.plugin.EcorePlugin$Implementation$Activator.start() of bundle org.eclipse.emf.ecore.

• The Essentials workspace is corrupted.
• There could be anti virus interference with the tool.

1. Make sure that no anti virus is running on the machine.
2. Make sure a copy of Essentials license key is available.
3. Close Essentials.
4. Delete the .metadata folder in C:\Users\UserID\Essentials
5. Launch essentials again.
6. This should rebuild the Essentials workspace.
