Users can log in to CWSuite and Evolve but not the published website and Customer confirms that they haven’t changed any of the user passwords.
Check the basic settings within IIS manager. In the Connections column navigate to ‘Default Web Site’ then in the actions window on the right hand side you will see basic settings. if you click on that and Click test settings, you should get 2 green tick Authorizations

Click test settings, you should get 2 green tick Authorizations

Sometimes the second path shows a yellow triangle

if this happens click close and then you need to click the Connect as… button

This will then display the following window

Here you will need to select ‘Specific user:’ and click ‘Set…’

The username and password fields need to match exactly what you have setup in Evolve designer Server configuration

The username is local machine name and the Windows Account Username you are currently logged on to the machine

Click OK and OK on the next screen
Then Click the ‘Test Settings…’ button, you should now have 2 green Authorisations.
Try logging into the Published Website again, if login fails open an Elevated CMD Prompt and type ‘IISreset’ then press Enter

You should now be able to login to the Published Website.
