Symptoms:
On Evolve page, cannot open an object link.
This issue can only be resolved in CWSuite 2018 or newer following this procedure
Right click on the site and select Add Virtual Directory
Type in full address path to network share folder
Select Connect as….
Set username and password for user account with access to network share
Click ok
Click ok
Click Test settings
You will now see the virtual directory listed
Right click on the directory and select “Manage Virtual Directory” and click Browse
Copy the URL
Open CW Modeler, navigate to your diagram
Select Home tab
Under insert select Object Link
Give the object link a name then select browse and navigate to the document
Change the path to the document to match your Virtual directory path
Click select and choose a picture for your object link
Click OK
Click on your diagram where you want the object link to be
Open Evolve designer and Publish the site,
Go to website, navigate to diagram and click the object link it should now open a new webpage with the document displaying
