Comments with embedded single (') quote are not generated correctly for some databases, like Redshift, PostgreSQL and Netezza etc. in Forward Engineering. The single quote within a word is stripped out. -

Resolution
erwin DM uses the first single quote to separate various fields. This causes the single quote to be not converted in Forward Engineering as expected, especially for some databases like Redshift, PostgreSQL and Netezza etc.The can be remedied by adding an extra single quote in the comment tab while populating comments for the objects, so that FE will preview proper script in erwin Data Modeler.Example: Instead of entering comment as DOESN'T in object editor – comment tab, user needs to enter as: DOESN""T.Please note that this is not a double quote but two single quotes. The first single quote will be used for parsing while the second single quote will be preserved. -
