As a result of ongoing research and development, and in response to customer feedback, the following enhancements have been made in this release of Quest GPOADmin:
Platform support updates
• The following support has been added:
• Ability to select Strict Encryption for SQL Server 2022 for data sent between the client and server when using SQL as the data store.
**NOTE: GPOADmin supports TLS 1.3; however, TLS 1.2 is still required to be enabled on the SQL Server due to Microsoft SQL Server 2022 requirements.
PowerShell updates
• Set-Configuration command updated for Strict Encryption for SQL Server 2022 for data sent between the client and server.
Additional rights
• Ability to assign attestation using the “Attest” right.
• Ability to assign keywords using the “Assign Keywords” right.
Miscellaneous updates
• Users are warned if they attempt to remove Authenticated Users from a GPO.
