This error happens while attempting to execute a policy in different browsers and different users with enough rights to enforce the policy -
Cause
This issue is caused by a Setting from SharePoint's own Central Administration. Following this steps should allow you to run your reports and avoid this errors going forward. -
Resolution
If you ever come across this error when attempting to execute the policy:
Turn Security Validation Off on Central Administration | Manage Web Application | Select the Web Application and choose Web Application General Settings:
Save the changed settings and you should be able to run the ControlPoint Actions correctly again.
