Unable to migrate Site Navigation from MOSS2007 to SharePoint Online
Description

When copying from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint Online, the Navigation does not copy. You receive the following error:
Exception: An error occurred during the operation of a service method: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.
Cause

This is a common behavior with Content Matrix.
Copying the Navigation from SP2007 to SharePointOnline may not work due to the large jump in SharePoint versions.
Resolution

As a workaround, perform the following steps:
- Go to the top of your Content Matrix console and click on the Settings tab. Then, click on the Enabled Advanced Mode button on the top ribbon.
- Connect to your source SP2007 Site Collection using the NWS (remote Native Web Service adapter.) Normally we would not use this adapter to copy content, but in this instance it's for troubleshooting.
- Right-click on that new connection made with the NWS adapter, and choose Copy Site.
- Right-click on your target Site and choose Paste Objects > Navigation. Run the migration job.
