"(500) Internal Server Error" message when connecting to eRoom (4325505)

When adding a connection to eRoom, you may see the following error message:

The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error

This error message shows up if the eRoom site is not configured to allow connections from external applications.

Configure the eRoom site to allow connections from external applications as per the steps below:

1. Log into the eRoom site as administrator.
2. Click "Site Settings" under "Administration".
3. On the General tab, enable the "Allow XML queries and connections from external applications" option.
4. Try reconnecting to eRoom from the Content Matrix Console - eRoom Edition.
