The template does not exist on the target server (4286491)

During a migration of a site or site collection, some subsites fail to copy with “The template does not exist on the target server" error message.

As the error suggests, in most cases, this is caused by custom site templates deployed on the source environment that have not been deployed to the target.

To work around this issue, a change in the job configuration can be done. Since the site templates don’t exist on the target, Content Matrix must use an existing template. This can be done by the "Map child site templates" option. For each template that does not exist, it is best to map to the "Blank Site" template on the target.

Note: Make sure to enable the Advanced Mode on the Settings tab of the Content Matrix Console or on the job configuration window to see all the job configuration options.
