Description

List migrated from Sharepoint on-prem sp2007 to SPO in modern site, appears to have 'coding' in the rich text fields that looks like HTML text. When viewed in edit mode.
When you view the record it looks normal, but when you do an edit it has extra code in text fields.
Cause

Rich text field in SPO was set to basic rich text mode.
Resolution

Rich text field in SPO needs to be set to enhanced rich text mode
