AppendAttributes parameter not available in CMN Directory Connector 3.7.1, which may overwrite existing attribute values on update. -
Description
The CMN Directory Connector versions 3.7 and 3.7.1 may overwrite existing attribute values in the target on subsequent runs of the connector (update). -
Cause
The <AppendAttributes> parameter is not currently available in CMN versions 3.7 or CMN 3.7.1. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Remove the attribute mapping from the "Update Attributes" tab in the Advanced Settings of the connector. The attribute mapping can be left on the "Provision Attributes" tab, which means that the attribute will be added when CMN creates contacts, but will not be modified in the future.
STATUS:
A Product Defect, TFS 633810, has been logged to restore this <AppendAttributes> feature in a future version of Coexistence Manager for Notes.
