Installing CMN Free Busy Connector setup wizard ends prematurely (4258832)

During the installation of Coexistence Manager for Notes (CMN), the setup wizards ends with the following error.

There can be multiple causes for the setup wizard to return this error message. 

RESOLUTION 1

Verify UAC (User Access Control) is turned off.

1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
2. In the search box type UAC.
3. Click Change User Account Control settings.
4. Turn off UAC by moving the slider to 'Never notify' and click OK.
5. Then restart the Windows server.

RESOLUTION 2

Confirm DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is set to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only."

1. go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System
2. Select Advanced system settings in the Navigation pain on the left
3. Under Performance Select the "Settings..." Command Button
4. Select the Data Execution Prevention tab
5. Select Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only radio button
6. Click Okay, A reboot will be required

RESOLUTION 3

Run the FreeBusy Connector install file as administrator.

Note: Right click or Shift+right click may not have the option to run as administrator.  Running as a different user will not give you elevated permissions even if you enter an admin account.

1. Run command prompt as administrator.
2. Change directory to the path of the setup files for CMN
3. Type in the install file name and run. Example: "Quest CMN - FreeBusyConnector.msi"
4. Complete the installation wizard as administrator.

RESOLUTION 4

Turn off and disable Windows Firewall services.

RESOLUTION 5

Reboot CMN Server and run the installation again.
