The search filter for proxyAddresses is configured incorrectly which causes the directory connector to not find a match and create duplicate objects in Active Directory.
1. Launch CMN
2. Select Connector Settings from the left menu pane
3. Right click the Notes to Exchange connector in the center pane
4. Select Advanced Settings
5. Select the User tab
6. Select the Association tab
7. For source attribute select mail from the drop menu
8. For the target attribute select proxyAddresses from the drop menu
9. Enter the following into the search filter
(|(mail={1})(proxyaddresses=*smtp:{1}*))
10. Click OK
11. Click Save and follow prompts to save the configuration
12. Click Activate
13. Run the connector and verify duplicate contacts are no longer being created
