The following steps will take the users mail domain from Notes and add a forward address of notes.domain to the target address attribute in Active Directory.
- Launch the CMN Management Console
- Right click on the Directory Connector for Notes to Exchange
- Choose Advanced Settings
- Select the Users tab
- Select the Provision Attributes tab
- Double click targetAddress
- Replace the script with the one below
- Repeat steps 5 through 7 for Update Attributes

The result will be the following:
userA@domainA.com will have a targetAddress of userA@notes.domainA.com
