After configuration a File System Auditing template, changes to files and folders is not recorded.
Resolution
There could be a number of reasons for the File System Auditing to not be working:
Confirm that a Change Auditor for Windows File Servers license has been applied to the Coordinator and that the Agent Status on the agents shows the license
Confirm that the File System Audit template has been assigned to the correct agents on the File Servers and that the Agent Configuration was refreshed or the template was assigned at least 15 minutes ago
Ensure the File System Audit template has been configured correctly: - Ensure the correct Audit Path option was selected. For example, if you set to audit a folder or drive (C:\temp, or D:\) ensure you select the Folder option and not File - Ensure you have selected the correct File or Folder Events that you want to audit - Confirm the Inclusion and Exclusion is set correctly - Ensure you have not excluded the process that would be making the File System changes
