When setting up Benchmark Factory for TPC tests, does a TPC database have to be created on the Oracle end in order for Benchmark to create the objects it needs?
It is "not" a requirement to create a TPC datable for Benchmark Factory. Benchmark Factory will install the object needed for a specific TPC test into schema specified in the Benchmark User Profile for any Oracle database.
It is a good idea to create a dedicated Benchmark Schema in the database where testing will be done.
