Folder path migration filter performance penalty (4288978)

When using a Folder Path migration filter to migrate items from specific folder, or to exclude specific folder from migration, it can have a performance penalty.
Overview
Before you can use the Folder Path migration filter, you have to enable the Collect Extended Metadata setting on the EV Collector ‘System Configuration’ setting tab, which will enable the folder path collection from Enterprise Vault during item gathering.
As the EV Collector module is querying EV SQL database for folder path for each item, you can encounter a slow down item gathering.
Once the metadata collection is done, item routing based on the migration filter condition will happen, where Archive Shuttle will go through the list of items, check if the items match the Folder migration path filter conditions. Again, this is happening per item which could take time in the situation where there are large EV Archives.
