How to activate and assign compliance permissions.
Activating compliance permissions
1. Launch Archive Manager for Files, from the left menu, go to Settings -> General tab -> Check the box next to "Activate compliance permissions" -> Click Apply.
Note: If "Activate compliance permissions" is selected, then the compliance tab, compliance permissions, and other compliance functionalities are activated through Archive Web. If the check box is cleared, the compliance functionalities are deactivated in Archive Web.
Assigning the permissions in Archive Web
Log in to Archive Web with the superuser or a user that is allowed to modify roles and permissions.
1. From the top right corner, go to "Manage Settings" -> permissions -> Add User
2. Enter the Domain and username, click on Search and select the users you would like to edit the permissions for.
Note: For an Office 365 account, check the "Office 365 user" box. To modify permissions for all users, check the "Select all" box.
3. Check the boxes to Allow or Deny the Compliance permissions.
4. Once you enable these permissions the compliance tab will be enabled in archive web.
