ApexSQL Subscription based products - 'Failed to Login -Internet Connection is required to continue' (4372943)

After installing ApexSQL Subscription based product, some customers got the following error while trying to enter credentials to access their license:

Enable JavaScript

1. Click Tools > Internet Options
2. Click the Security tab > Custom Level
3. In the Scripting section, click Enable for Active Scripting
4. In the dialog box that displays, click Yes

Enable cookies

1. Click Tools > Internet Options
2. Click the Privacy tab > Advanced
3. In the newly opened dialog, choose to Accept both “First-party Cookies” and “Third-party Cookies”
   1. If this is already set to “Accept”, change it to either “Block” or “Prompt”, save, then change it back to “Accept”
   2. If the above doesn’t work, try disabling the “Always allow session cookies” as well

You can enter this URL: https://www.whatismybrowser.com/detect/are-cookies-enabled to verify if cookies are enabled or not. You should get a message similar to this (it’s essential to do this in Internet Explorer and not Microsoft Edge):

After this, run the ApexSQL app and you should be able to log in without any problems.
