Description

Apex SQL Audit graphical user interface crashes when generating a report preview with error:
A generic error occurred in GDI+ - GUI crashes
Cause

This error is generated when SQL text data in a query contains over 32 000 characters. The current SQL text data limit for ApexSQL Audit report preview is 32 000 characters.
Resolution

This issue has been documented as bug ID 221224 to be addressed in a future ApexSQL Audit version.
Workaround: The recommended SQL text data setting is the default (512 characters). If more characters need to be collected, the current limit is 32 000 characters.
