How to manually create the Spotlight on Messaging 7.5 Database on both clustered and non-clustered SQL 2000, SQL 2005 & SQL 2008 Servers
The steps listed below allow SQL administrators to manually create the SOM database using scripts rather than running the SOM installer against SQL servers.
The Spotlight on Messaging 7.5 manual database creation scripts can be found with the installation files of the product in a subfolder called DatabaseScripts. These files can also be accessed by running the autorun utility of the installer and selecting Install | Spotlight on Messaging Manual Database Scripts. The database creation scripts are in a subfolder called InstallScripts
