Unable to make any changes to the length and type for any data type in a table, in Toad for SQL server 8.x version.
The following message appears:
"-- No changes detected" in the SQL script. -
Cause
The issue has been identified as a bug.
Defect ID - TSS-2414
The Forced encryption for SQL Server connection is causing the issue.

Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Please modify the length and type for any table using a SQL query.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for SQL Server.
