Export Dataset to default to XLSX files when browsing to find Excel files. Export Format XLS File is selected and "..." is chosen for File field. The only option available in file type drop down to find files is XLS files. Please add XLSX to this list and make it a default file type.

Enhancement request has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release for Toad for Oracle. This requested can be viewed at the Toad Idea Pond site here.
Note: .xlsx extension has been added for version 12.x TOR-2216 is to make .xlsx extension the default.
In the current version, if you save a file as XLSX, then next time you go in there and type in a file without an extension, it will default to XLSX.
