Getting SQL0440N error when trying to create a database DLL -
Description
When trying to create a DLL for database, the following error is returned.
“ApplicationException
ERROR [42884] [IBM][DB2/LINUXX8664] SQL0440N No authorized routine named "SNAPSHOT_SWITCHES" of type "FUNCTION" having compatible arguments was found.”

Cause
Toad for DB2 does not support the version of DB2 server being used.

Resolution
Make sure that the DB2 server being used is supported by the version of Toad for DB2 being used. You can find which server versions are supported by the Toad you are using by checking the System Requirements section of the release notes. Here is a link to where you can view the release notes.
