Resolution

1. From the bottom pane of Alter Table column, locate Data field under Values section.
2. From Data drop down, select Default option.
3. This will enable Default Value field. Select "<user-defined>" from Default Value drop down.
4. This will enable Constant Value field. Enter default value for column.
