This issue disrupts the ability to analyze query execution plans, which can impact database optimization workflows.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open **Toad Data Studio 2.0**.
2. Connect to a **PostgreSQL 16** database.
3. In the interface, right-click on the PostgreSQL server.
4. Select **New SQL Editor** from the context menu.
5. Drag or transfer a table into the New SQL Editor window.
6. When the dialog box appears, choose the **Select** statement option.
7. Execute the SELECT statement from the New SQL Editor window.
8. In the **Results grid**, click on **Explain Plan**.
9. The error message ("System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Access violation at address 00000000007E9BDC") is displayed.
