How to transfer Toad settings configurations from one computer to another? (4262020)

How can one migrate Toad Data Point user settings configurations from one computer to another?
How does one transfer or copy over the User Files folder?

Attention!

Confirm that instances of Toad Data Point are closed on all PCs. 

Back up any folders before making any folder/file moves.

The Toad Data Point configuration files (User File folder) are stored under:

Windows 10 and above:

'C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Data Point X.X(old version)'

Note: Some of these sub folders may be hidden, and if so, change your Windows Explorer settings in order to view them.

1. From the above folder, copy all XML files to the new machine. These files keep user settings and connection information. There will also some sub-folders in the above folder that store possible user files, such SQL Recall or Projects. If so such files should be copied over as well.

2. Copying the whole 'Toad for Data Point X.X' folder from the old PC and replacing the existing folder in the new PC is also possible.

The new PC path will be similar to the above path. 

'C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Data Point X.X(new version)'
