Known Issue |
|
VFGLS-3799 |
Brocade - Selected fabrics under the Discovered Targets tab may left unchecked after upgrading from 4.4 and 4.4.1 versions. Workaround: Select the desired fabrics under the Discovered targets tab for the Brocade agent. |
|
VFGLS-3798 |
The Advanced find tab of the explorer view of the agent may show There Is No Data To Display after upgrading from 4.4 and 4.4.1 versions. |
|
VFGLS-3467 |
Installation failed when install Foglight/FVE/FSM with embedded DB to Windows %PROGRAMFILES% dir. |
|
VFGLS-3438 |
If both valid and invalid credentials are provided for the system to be monitored, it is possible for the valid credential to not be found or used. The invalid credential should be manually deleted in this case. |
|
VFGLS-3405 |
Capacity trending and time-to-full predictions are not available for storage elements that are not being actively monitored by an agent. |
| VFGLS-3397 | NetApp System-api-list calls made to determine what other API calls are available may trigger log messages on the NetApp system regarding access permission on the NetApp console. Foglight for Storage Management does not call these other API methods. |
|
VFGLS-3166 |
Memory leak when deploying new Python agent build. |
|
VFGLS-3152 |
NetApp - Used in Monitored Environment value under Summary is incorrect for NASVolumes. |
|
VFGLS-2969 |
Compellent - Incorrect error message shown for bad credentials. |
| VFGLS-2957 | Daylight Saving Time (DST) change causes Compellent agent to request data for an incorrect time range. Stopping and starting the agent corrects this. |
| VFGLS-2897 | VM to LUN mapping calculations can fail. |
| VFGLS-2881 | SAN topology mapping is inconsistent. |
|
VFGLS-2381 |
Values for the protection level obtained from Clariion arrays may be different if collected using the command line from those collected using an SMIS connection. |
|
VFGLS-1938 |
Some NetApp filter instances will display no information for IP and FC ports. |
|
VFGLS-1501 |
NetApp filer volume available capacity values are different for overcommitted volumes. |
|
VFGLS-434 |
FCoE support (Fiber Channel over Ethernet). |

Known Issue |
| VFGLS-3637 | NetApp MetroCluster configuration is not supported due to topology and command query differences between NetApp MetroCluster and Cluster (C-mode) get the inventory and performance metrics. |
| VFGLS-3608 | |
| VFGLS-3568 | Isilon OneFS 8.0: Unable to create Isilon Agent due to not being able to authenticate target. |
| VFGLS-3452 | EMC VNXe as a collection target is not supported. |

VFGLS-2214 |
NetApp filers can be configured for both SSLv3 and TLS connections. As a result of recent security changes in Java, the agent will no longer, by default, attempt SSLv3 connections when monitoring these systems. If a secure connection is required, it is strongly recommended that TLS be enabled for the filer. See https://library.netapp.com/ecmdocs/ECMP1155684/html/GUID-3E07D3F8-6A05-49C0-BF92-9C88BA252E1F.html To enable SSLv3 connections to the filer, edit the file "jre/lib/security/java.security" from the agent manager hosting the agent monitoring the filer, remove or comment out the line jdk.tls.disabledAlgorithms=SSLv3, and restart the agent manager. |
