Host Monitor view

This embedded view is part of the Exchange Server Environment Summary view, which is displayed when an individual Exchange server is selected in the Object Tree view on the Exchange Environment dashboard.

This view displays the name of the target server from which data is being collected.

Drill down on:

Host Monitored. Displays the Host Monitor dashboard that provides a real-time overview of how the host is performing. For more information about the Host Monitor dashboard, see the Foglight User Guide or online help.

Hub Transport Features view

This embedded view is part of the Hub Transport Role Explorer Summary view, which is displayed when you select Hub Transport in the Exchange Infrastructure view on the Exchange Explorer dashboard. The metrics displayed depend on the Hub Transport feature selected in the Role Features State view.

When Journaling is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following information for the server selected in the server list.

Transport Agent. Displays the name of the transport agent.
Total Agent Invocations. Displays the total number of invocations since that last restart.
Avg. Agent Processing Time/sec. Displays the average agent processing time in seconds per event.

When Local Messages is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.

Mailbox Delivery Queues. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:

Active Delivery Queue Length. Shows the number of messages waiting to be delivered to a mailbox server.
Retry Delivery Queue Length. Shows the number of messages waiting to be retried for delivery to a mailbox server.

When Message Submission is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.

Submission Queue. This graph charts the number of messages in the submission queue that are waiting to be processed for delivery.

Message Submitted/sec. This graph charts the number of messages submitted each second during the specified time interval.

Total Messages Submitted. This graph charts the total number of messages submitted.

When Remote Messages is selected in the Hub Transport tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.

Remote Delivery Queues. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:

Mailbox Features view

This embedded view is part of the Mailbox Role Explorer Summary view, which is displayed when you select Mailbox 2007, 2010 or Mailbox 2013 in the Exchange Infrastructure view on the Exchange Explorer dashboard. The metrics displayed depend on the Mailbox feature selected in the Role Features State view.

When Mailbox Databases is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.

For Mailbox 2007, 2010:

Active Client Logons. This graph charts the number of clients that have performed any action within the last ten minutes. It provides a comparison against the computed average for the specified time interval.

Messages Sent/Delivered. The pulse gauges in this view display the following rates over the specified time interval:

Messages Sent/sec. Shows the rate at which messages are sent to the transport.
Messages Delivered/sec. Shows the rate at which messages are delivered to all recipients.

Send & Receive Queues. This graph charts the following metrics over the specified time interval:

Send Queue Length. Shows the messages in the send queue.
Receive Queue Length. Shows the messages in the receive queue.

For Mailbox 2013:

Messages Delivered/sec. Shows the rate at which messages are delivered to all recipients.

Clicking a graph in this view displays a metrics popup that describes the counters, provides more detailed data points, and lists current alarms for the selected metric.

When Outlook MAPI is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays the following information for each storage group and mailbox database using Outlook MAPI on the selected server.

Name. Displays the names of the storage groups and mailbox databases on the selected server.

MAPI Connectivity. Indicates the result (failure or success) of logging into the System Mailbox of the specified database.

Latency. Displays the delay in logging into the mailbox.

Table 90. Local Messages

When Local Messages is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays the following information for the Mailbox Delivery Queues.

Active Delivery Queue Length. Length and size active delivery queue.

Retry Delivery Queue Length. Length and size of the retry delivery queue.

Table 91. Remote Messages

When Remote Messages is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays the following information for each Remote Delivery Queue on the selected server.

Retry Remote Deliver Queues. Displays the external and internal retry remote lengths for the selected timeframe.

Active Remote Delivery Queues. Displays the external and internal retry active remote delivery count for the selected timeframe.

When Journaling is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays the following information on the transport agent, total invocations, and average time it took to process invocations.

Total Agent Invocations. Total number of invocations made by that agent on that server.

Avg. Agent Processing Time/sec. Average length of time it took the agent to process the invocations.

Total Agent Innovations. Total number of invocations made by that agent on that server.

When Call Answering is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays on diverted calls and disconnected calls.

Diverted Calls. Displays the calls answered and calls missed count plotted against the time they occurred.

When Auto Attendant is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays details on call duration, calls process by the Auto Attendant, and disconnected calls.

Average Call Duration. Average Auto Attendant call duration plotted against the time the calls occurred.

Calls Processed By Auto Attendant. The calls process by the Auto Attendant, plotted against the time the calls occurred.

Disconnected Calls. The calls disconnected by the Auto Attendant count, plotted against the time the calls occurred.

When Public Folders is selected in the Mailbox tile, this view displays the following metrics for the server selected in the server list.
