When trying to connect to the PA repository from Optimizer, the option is grayed out and it cannot access the database.
The PA repository is accessible from the computer (through PA) without issue. The connection in Optimizer to the PA database looks ok too. The connection uses the SA user which also owns the PA repository database. The instance can be selected as expected, but the database cannot be selected. Clicking on the <please select> for Databases doesn't do anything. This is an issue with any instance selected.
No pop up , no error, no drop down. Toad is responsive, so it's not hung.

Issue fixed in version 9.0. The latest version of SQL Optimizer for SQL Server can be downloaded from the Support Portal
