Does SQL Navigator support UTF8 or Unicode or multi-byte character databases?
SQL Navigator 5:
SQL Navigator 5 will connect to a UTF8 database and display data that is made up of single-byte characters; however, if the data contains multi-byte characters, SQL Navigator will not be able to display them correctly.
SQL Navigator 6:
SQL Navigator 6 now has Unicode Data Support.
* There is an option under View | Preferences | General | Session | National Language Support (To make this option changes effective right away, shut down SQL Navigator then restart) | "Display and Edit multi-byte data"
* Table Editor: Data Tab will be read-only if Unicode option enabled.
Applies to all versions of SQL Navigator.
