Is it possible to launch Spotlight and run is as a different user to the one which is logged into Windows using a powershell 'runas' command?
e.g:
cmd "runas /netonly /user:Domain2\user.name "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Spotlight Enterprise\Console\Spotlight.exe
When attempting to do so, Spotlight hangs when connecting the Diagnostic Server to the client. -
Resolution
This is currently not possible to do by design. This method of connection isn't supported in Spotlight
