1. Open the PRTG Network Monitor home page
2. Select Sensors
3. Hover over Sensors again to see Sensors menu
4. Select Add Sensor
5. In ‘Select a Group from the List’ select Probe Device
6. Click Continue
7. In the Sensor search field type ‘trap’
8. Select the SNMP Trap Receiver sensor
9. Click Create
10. Copy the Spotlight MIB file into the MIB directory under the PRTG Network Monitor installation directory
11. Select the Sensors tab
12. Locate the SNMP Trap Receiver sensor
13. Click it
14. Send an SNMP trap from Spotlight
15. It should appear under Trap Messages after 30 seconds
