How to clone inherited and explicit permissions from a user or group to another user or group? -
Description
There are folder permissions for a group that are inherited from the parent folder in all subfolders and in a few subfolders the permissions were changed and these permissions are required to be given to another group in the same way it is set in all folders. -
Resolution
You may clone a target group from a source group with same permissions in all folder levels by doing the following:
1- Right-click parent folder, and click Clone Group or User.
2- In Source Group or User select the source group.
3- In Destination Group or User select the target group.
4- Click Add.
5- Select Include protected objects when cloning and click Ok.
